Overview: Blue Ribbon really isn't a "preseason magazine," so much as a "preseason book." It's roughly twice as big as the other preseason magazines, and costs about three times as much. 2006 marks the sixth issue of Blue Ribbon's college football preview, though it was not produced in 2003, so they don't have a last-3-years accuracy total for this year. The per-team coverage is incredibly detailed, with about four pages' coverage for most I-A teams, and does include the results of spring football. The main knocks on Blue Ribbon are the cost and the quality of predictions. Last year, Blue Ribbon finished 11th of 12 in prediction accuracy.

Per-team information: about four pages for most I-A teams, and more than two pages for even minor teams. Includes: discussion of the school's history and tradition, multiple paragraphs on each of the units including interview quotes from coaches, previous year's results, and some statistical information.

Per-conference information: less than one page, with a projected order of finish and a one-deep all-conference team.

National information: a top 25 without commentary. There is also a one-deep all-America list.

Recap (previous year) information: final conference standings, team statistics, and bowl results. All game scores from the previous season are given in each team's section.

Division I-AA information: None.
